Terms of Use

Last updated 3 November 2026.

These terms govern your use of the hostcd.dev website and the hostcd software. By using the site or the software, you agree to them.

The software and its licence

hostcd is distributed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1). The licence text that ships with each release is authoritative and converts to Apache License 2.0 on the change date stated in it. Team and Enterprise capabilities require a signed commercial licence after any applicable trial period, on the Commercial Subscription Terms. Your use of the software is governed by that licence; nothing on this page grants rights beyond it. See the LICENSE.

No warranty

The website and the software are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. You are responsible for evaluating the software before relying on it in production.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from use of the site or the software.

Acceptable use of the website

Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its providers, and do not use the contact channels to send unlawful or abusive content.

Third-party services

Downloads, source, and container images are hosted on GitHub; the website is hosted and served by GitHub Pages; Cloudflare provides DNS and email routing for the domain; the contact form uses Formspree. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your own country of residence are unaffected.

Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change.
